XCX Scans is always looking for new staff to help us with our doujin and manga releases. We do many kinds of releases, but there are some things we absolutely will not do. We are always looking for Editors and Translators, and never for Quality Checkers. You need no experience, but you must have the drive to learn, and some time in your schedule. We do this because we want to, and so should you.

If you do join, I expect you to be around and in regular contact. I do not want you asking to join and not doing a single project. I don't want to be wasting my time. I expect you to have Skype or be on the IRC channel for contacting.

What will you do as a Translator?

• Translate Japanese to English. Simple
• As long as you can read Japanese, have access to dictionaries, and are willing to learn YOURSELF, then you're qualified to join. We will not be your teachers and teach you Japanese, but we will help you if needed.
• We ask you place your translations on a readable medium. For example, you can put your text over the image directly if you have an image editing program. You can also put them on a .txt file and send that over Google Drive. As long as it's easily accessible and easy to understand.

What will you do as an Editor?

• You will need Photoshop or similar image editing software.
• You will replace Japanese text with English text in such a way that is aesthetically pleasing while conveying emotion and the author's intent.
• Redrawing is a huge plus, but not necessary. Yuki and other members will be available to help if needed, but we encourage you to practice and learn.
